George is making a to do list

Items to remember, things to be worked on:

The syrup in the milk, the shop in the lanes, my favourite colour before, the tea in my mug, the smell of our winter relationship, the addition to the shake.

My natural (removed) and unnatural (improved) colours, the only thing in my throat when I'm blue, (the other smell of our winter relationship), your allergy and downfall.

The holes in my flesh: bored out and created in calm and stability; closed and seemingly sealed in the spiralling vortex downwards; now opening again with the aid of raindrops and curves.

What you put me on to! The first film I saw with you, my favourite fabrics, maths but not pi, frames but not primes, everything raising itself up into relief.

Towels, prescription cream, hospitals, bathrooms? The bisexual colour (but actually not) and nothing that I can think of eating.

What I am scared of and what I am and what seems to be in the house every weekend (this last one not withstanding).

What has been given (in flounce, flower, feather and glitter), banished for eighteen years and now present every morning.

You are: that which made me, (one level down) that which remade me, (three levels across) that which entertains me, (one level down), that which entertains us both.

You are: my equal and opposite, holder of my strengths, mirror of my weaknesses, all that came before but hopefully not all that comes after, occupying less space but more memory.

I have spread myself too thin. This is not a call but a setting of the elements into play.
